**GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE - THIS FRIDAY, 7 PM!**

We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper during this special season of music, Scripture, and prayer.

**THIS SUNDAY - EASTER!**

Please plan to arrive early, and please try to sit toward the front, so there will be a place for everyone!

There will be no Sunday School on Easter.

Most importantly, please pray for God’s Spirit to move mightily as we worship on Friday and Sunday!

**REMINDER TO CHOIR MEMBERS**

We will rehearse Thursday this week (not Wednesday), and rehearsal will begin at 6:30 (not 7:00).

**QUOTABLE**

From “All of Grace” by Charles Spurgeon

“You are not asked to trust in a dead Jesus but in One who, though He died for our sins, has risen again ‘for our justification’ (Romans 4:25).

“You may go to Jesus at once as a living and present Friend.  He is not a mere memory but a continually existent Person who will hear your prayers and answer them.  He lives to carry on the work for which He once laid down His life...

“The glory that surrounds the ascended Lord should breathe hope into every believer’s breast.  Jesus...is the crowned and enthroned Redeemer of men...

“At His word, the soul that is bound by the cords of sin and condemnation can be unloosened in a moment.  He stretches out the silver scepter, and whoever touches it lives...

“Jesus endured great humiliation, and therefore there was room for Him to be exalted.  By that humiliation He accomplished and endured all the Father’s will.  Therefore, He was rewarded by being raised to glory.  He uses that exaltation on behalf of His people.

“Raise your eyes to these hills of glory, from where your help must come...

“Come and commit your cause and your case to those once-pierced hands that are now glorified with the signet rings of royal power and honor.”
