**MEN’S RETREAT - THIS WEEKEND**
You can still sign up for the Ohio Valley Presbytery Men’s Retreat! The first session begins Friday evening at 8 PM at Hueston Woods.
**CPC FAMILY GATHERING - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 5:30 PM**
Each family should bring a main dish and either a side dish or a dessert to share. If you are single, please bring one item. Please bring enough to serve you and several other people! The church will provide drinks.
**VBS COORDINATOR**
As February approaches, we are still in need of a coordinator for this summer’s Vacation Bible School. This is a great CPC tradition, and the coordinator will have lots of help, but we need someone to direct it all. We would love to see two people step forward: one to lead this year, and another to “apprentice” in preparation for leading next year. Please pray about this, and please contact Pastor Stein if you would like to serve in this important way.
**ANOINTING WITH OIL**
On the first Sunday of each month, the elders are making themselves available to pray with the sick and anoint them with oil. We will be available at 8:45 this Sunday morning, in the library. Please contact Pastor Stein if you would like to meet with us.
**PRAY**
* For the persecuted church: Pray for Christians and missionaries in Kenya, in the wake of recent violence. During the 2005 Tanzania mission trip, our team members stayed at the Mayfield House in Nairobi, which is near downtown. This is a guest house which receives missionaries from all over Africa. Please especially pray for God’s protection for the Mayfield House and its guests.

**MINNESOTA MISSION TRIP**
The Missions Committee is now accepting applications for another short-term mission trip to the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota.
Ministries:
* Helping lead a Bible Camp for children from the reservation.
* Construction and maintenance through an evangelical church on the reservation.
Dates: July 19 to 26 Cost: approximately $500 per person.
Age Requirement: age 14 or older (exceptions must be approved by Missions Committee).
Team Leader: Kim Soots
Application Deadline: February 29
Applications are available from Jim Price, or the church office.
**CHURCH OFFICE BASEMENT**
The basement at the church office is being cleaned out! If you have something down there, or know of something that needs to stay, please remove it, or contact the church office about it, by February 1.
