THE E-NEWSLETTER OF CHRIST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
**WORTH READING**
“The Reason for God”, by Timothy Keller
Reviewed by Tom Stein
I have never taken the risk before, but I would like to recommend a book to you that I have not read!
I just received a copy of this book, which is scheduled to be published in February. Tim Keller is the Pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, New York City, and is one of the most respected thinkers and leaders in our own denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America.
This book is subtitled, “Belief in An Age of Skepticism,” and is designed to explain how Christianity is a rational faith.
If you haven’t noticed, the atheists are on the warpath. They are now arguing that Christianity is both irrational and harmful.
Tim Keller has a gift for answering Christianity’s critics and articulating the truths of our faith in a kind but persuasive way. I am confident he will do it again with this book.
I plan to read this soon. I encourage you to do the same!
